You complained about none issue for a cheapest LE model. I could not put my sunglass in my holder on RX350 either. There is where the garage opener go. I had no problem with my AC control. It always started and turned on vent direction. I don't want defrost and seldom used on my car. My gas door lever is right next to my rear hatch lever and I had no problem with it because I never used the rear hatch lever inside.

Dealer would have charged around 350.00 - 450.00 to do this, so good job you did.

What a brilliant system these manufacturers came up with. It’s probably to encourage you to not change the transmission fluid when these vehicles are older so your transmission goes bad and too expensive to repair. Less used vehicle availability equals more sales of new vehicles.

Use velcro tape for your garage door opener. I had that problem too. Velcro tape works greatml.

I just bought a used 2022 Le. It has the digital speedometer and front panel. I wonder if they took out more things for the basic model in 2023. 🤔💁🏼‍♀️ Mine is regular fwd. I love that you can drive on the beach with yours. 😃

2022 Tacoma TRD...Way late to the game here but for what it's worth. The "dealer" said the oil in the engine is a special break-in oil. I was told that it will need to be changed at 12,000 miles. You can't make this up, lol. Anyway, After begging them to change it at 6,000 and being refused, I took it elsewhere. You see, they make you pay for a package in Southeast USA and it included 3 oil changes for $600...what a deal (NOT). Anyway, it turns out this specific engine and oil combo do not need to be changed but once every 10k miles. So, I only have 12k on the vehicle after nearly 2-years. I think I am going to push for 7,500mi at the next oil change...probably 1-year from now. No, I never did get a single oil change from the dealer, because they refused until a year had passed. They just make you pay the $600 and there is no way around it.

really nice! Have you had the camper shell overlap make contact with the paint and cause damage? I'm worried about that overlap, it get so close to the paint. And if off-roading it'll rub

Its a good idea. Assembly debris can also be found in that early oil change.

If you don't have time to wash it, go to a automatic car wash, whenever it gets dirty. Preferably a touchless car wash. I never let my cars stay dirty. If you want to vary wiper speed, look up "intermittent wiper" in the manual, you can make it wipe as slow as you want. Stop-start system, everyone hates. Be glad it's a Toyota and gives you the shutoff switch. My Sisters 2020 Buick has NO shutoff for stop-start system. Enjoy the Rav4 !

Just put in a reservation deposit on my XLE yesterday with the basic package! It’s currently being built but I’m stoked to get it soon (if the paper work goes well)! I’ve been driving a 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited and only been getting 16-19mpg. So the 37 mpg is going to be a huge difference!

My 2024 RAV4 TRD Off Road does not have this 'feature', so how come Toyota has it on some models and not on others? I would not have bought the car of it came with this.

I just bought 2024 rav4 le Any ideas why eco mode is on slow speed when I’m driving in normal mode?

The Toyota Owners Manual states: "If SAE 0W-16 is not available, SAE 0W-20 oil may be used. However, it MUST be replaced with SAE 0W-16 at the next oil change." "An oil with a higher viscosity (one with a higher value) may be better suited if the vehicle is operated at high speeds, or under extreme load conditions." To me, you can use 0W-20 oil for a (10K oil change), then you MUST change back to 0W-16, and that one with a higher value may be better suited, like you are towing or mountain driving. So I am using 0W-20 for the summer (April-Oct), then changing back to 0W-16 in the winter, (Oct-Apr) change it every 5K or 6 Months.

How was the kayak with tide pulling back n forth? I was thinking about taking mine over in a couple weeks on our trip to fish around the bay and drop a pot by noaa docks. I just have a paddle kayak not a fancy one like yours lol

I found two 3rd Gen S&W pistols (915 and 5924) that were near-new...so, so nice. I love your 5906. These are some of my favorite pistols of all time. These guns came new with the cardboard boxes and the inner tri-fold cardboard. I think the vendor may have gotten that plastic case and some of the extra bits there, but nonetheless, your pistol does look virtually new! Beautiful piece!! Your gun was probably made in a late-Gen3 run (circa 1993) with the MIM hammer. Need to get yourself some proper 15-round mags...you'll find some new ones out there too, but pricey, of course.
